Q: What goals did you accomplish heading into your final collegiate season?
I set out this season to have the best season personally, doing my one eleventh, to help the defense be the best we can be. I had a career high in every part of my game and came out this season injury free. I couldn’t ask for a better ending to my senior season.
Q: What would your coaches say about the type of player you are?
A true field general & playmaker. The most reliable player on field. Who uses his abilities to bring out the best of the other guys surrounding him. Game on the line situation we lean on him.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
I study what formations coordinate with specific plays. Using this in combination with tendency percentages & down situations I can determine what plays are going to be ran before the snap.
Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?
The combination of knowledge and playmaking. Studying film is great but translating that knowledge to game situations is different, and that’s what I do best. My athleticism is great, but who isn’t an athlete this is the difference and it shows in my film.
Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?
I’ve trained at Powertrain in Rockville, MD & with current NFL players/prospects at Pyles Elite Training in Wheeling, WV.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Reliable & Driven. This is my “why” everyday to get up and outwork everyone else in my position. My drive gives me work ethic & reliability maintains consistency of great habits.
Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
My numbers speak for themselves. I have the confidence, size & ability to play in the next level. All I need is an opportunity.
