Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
The goals I had for my final season were to win the conference title and make a playoff berth. We were able to accomplish both. I was also selected as team captain.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My coaches and teammates would say I am a team first guy. I am willing to take on any role for the team no matter what is asked of me.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
I focus on all the little things. Obviously, knowing the backfield set tendencies and formation tendencies are a must, but understanding how a tackle sets in a run vs a pass play is huge. Noticing how a tackle sets and what moves he is vulnerable to.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
All-American, Academic All American, NSIC Defensive Player of the Year, and the Glen Galligan Award.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I plan on training at ETS and perform in Pro Day workouts as well as open tryouts.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I will be a leader on and off the field. On the field I will bring relentless effort and disruptions in the backfield. Off the field I will be a leader who pushes everyone and holds each other to the highest standard.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
With my past achievements, I feel it is only the beginning of what I can accomplish.
