Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

The two main goals I had set for myself was to A. Be a better leader for a young team and B. To be an anchor for the defense. I feel like I accomplished both of those goals.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches and teammates would say Im a player of passion, a player who takes everything I do as seriously as it needs to be, whether that’s defense or special teams. They would also say Im a player of habit, I never get tired of the fundamentals and I stand by what my coaches have coached me to do.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When Im studying film, I focus on everything from foot work, body posture, formations to down and distance, situation, and what front the offense is going against. All those things allow me to be a better player when Saturday’s came.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

What separates me from other prospects is my willingness to adapt to any system Im put in. In my college career I’ve flipped between 4 man to 3 man fronts constantly and often and yet I don’t miss a beat.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My off-season plan is to train as much as I can for pro-day. Once that’s done, Im going to keep training and working on my craft. I want to continuously be in a good spot so that if that opportunity comes knocking, I’ll be ready without missing a beat.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

My strengths that I can bring to a team is wanting to do whatever I can do. Whatever role I find myself in, I want to be the very best at it. That could be special teams or defense. Whatever my job is, I make it my mission to be the very best I can be at that job. That also comes with whenever I have chances to help the community off the field as well. If I can pay it forward and make an impact, I will do it to the best of my ability.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

My final pitch is that it doesn’t matter what I have to do to earn my spot. However, I will scratch and claw and continuously work so that I can be the best I can be to earn a job, then work even harder to keep it.
