Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
One of my goals was to become a more complete player. That consisted of improving my on-field communication and developing new pass rush moves.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My coaches and teammates would say I’m someone you can count on to do their job. They will say I play with a high motor and give my best effort on and off the field.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
I focus on my opponents like the offensive line and quarterback. I watch their tendencies to see how I can exploit them. For example, I will focus on how the offensive line is getting off the ball and what type of sets they show.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
What separates me is my discipline, athleticism, and willingness to sacrifice for the greater good of the team. I’m also a very twitchy defensive player with quickness and power. I can give offensive lineman different looks because of my unpredictability.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I was blessed to have the opportunity to showcase my skills at the HBCU Pigskin Bowl. I also plan on training and perfecting my craft with my trainer. I want to ensure that I have a superb pro day in March for all pro scouts.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I am a great teammate and locker room guy. I am very coachable. I will be disciplined and behave like a professional off the field. On the field I will hold my gap assignment and support my teammates.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
I am a player who has dominated at the Division I and II levels. I have displayed leadership and discipline throughout my playing career. I know I can play at the next level. All I need is the opportunity to show my dominance.
