Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

This season my main goal was to play to the best of my ability, help the team win, and to have fun with the process of the season knowing it could be my last year playing the game I love. As far as my first goal I believe that I played to the best of my ability and did my job well for the team. Obviously there is always room for improvement and I am always growing as a player and person but I do believe I played well in my last season. As far as the second goal, unfortunately we weren’t able to get it done at all times on the field, but it was a rebuild year and I think that I helped build the culture of the program and did my part in helping set it up for success is the coming years. Last off I really made sure to take everything in and had a lot of fun with this last season.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I believe my coaches and teammates would say that I am a tough and dependable player who is a great teammate. They would say that I am the type of guy you can rely on anytime weather it is a Tuesday morning scout period or a Saturday night game, I am always there to get the job done to the best of my abilities. I am always going 110% and always trying to get better. I also believe they would say I am a great teammate that can add value to any locker room I step into and the kind of guy that treats all my teammates with love and respect.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

First and foremost I always focus on how I can get better. I am very critical of myself and always looking for ways that I can improve. I enjoy watching some of the top guys at my position and picking things out of their game that can help me with my game. As someone who has played in a few different offenses I really enjoy watching film and studying to learn new schemes. When I watch my opponents I make sure to take notes on them and gather any little tendencies in their game that could help give me an edge.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

What separates me from other prospects at my position is the style in which I play. I pride myself on playing with an old school, hard nosed, tough mentality. Every play I am looking to play through the whistle and finish blocks. I play as physical as possible no matter the play call and I am not afraid to put my body on the line for the betterment of the team.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

This off-season I have been training to make sure I am ready as possible if given an opportunity. For me training and the weightroom is a lifestyle and something I will always do weather I am playing or not. I am lucky enough to have connections with several current / former NFL Offensive Lineman. So I have had the opportunity to train with them this off-season which has been great. Getting insight from guys that have done what I am trying to do has been awesome and I feel very lucky to have that opportunity.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

On the field I believe that I bring toughness and dependability to the field. I am always going to go 110% in anything we do. I think off the field I bring a similar set of traits. I am dependable in the fact that I always have my mind set on the goal of getting better on the field. I am a weightroom and film junkie and that is where I spend a majority of my time, you will never have to worry about me getting in trouble or doing anything to hurt the team.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

My final pitch to any teams out there would be if you take me you will be getting a tough and dependable player who will always come through for you. I love this game and I am extremely committed and dedicated to the process. I believe that I have gotten better and better each college season I have played, and it has all brought me to this point. I feel that I am ready to come in and make an impact for any team that I get an opportunity to play for.
