What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
Set a goal to become a team captain, and to win a conference championship. Became a team captain for my senior year.
Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?
Due to my season getting canceled during COVID I could not get another year of film like many others for the extra year of eligibility. Instead I worked on protecting my craft and helping lead my teammates to where we needed to be.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
A very vocal leader who is the ultimate competitor.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
Try and keep it simple and focus on play calling tendencies as well as specific player technique tendencies.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
My versatility is my greatest strength. At UD I have played 5 positions on defense over my career from corner down to defensive end. I also am willing to do literally whatever it takes to get the job done and win.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I am currently training at TEST Football Academy with the best of the best to prepare myself.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I will be someone who is very unselfish and willing to do Absolutely anything to help give my team success. My versatility will allow me to create depth at other positions. I will also be one who can build very effective relationships in the locker room.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL/CFL and any other pro leagues?
Being someone coming from a small school the chip on my shoulder is real. One man can only be told so many times at all different levels that they aren’t good enough before it becomes an obsessive desire to become the best in the world. That is what I have developed from my time as a Pee wee football player to now as someone preparing for the 2022 NFL Draft. I want to not only prove doubters wrong but I am desperate to prove myself and anyone who has ever believed in me right.
