Brandon Bullins: 2024 Pro Prospect Interview

Name: Brandon Bullins
School: Methodist University
Position: QB
Height: 6-2
Weight: 210

Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

Broke multiple conference records including Passing yards, total yards, passing touchdowns, total touchdowns, completions, and attempts. Threw for over 11,000 yards in my career.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

Leader, hardest worker, committed, discipline, smart.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

Tendencies/tendency breakers that the other team is doing. Knowing what’s going to happen before the snap is important for my success. Other than that I evaluate myself on pocket presence, decision making, reads and more.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

My anticipation on throws, being able to “throw the guy open”. I also coach the position, which keeps my mind sharp and makes me continue to be a student of the game.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

Continue to lift, run, throw. I’m staying in contact with several of my college coaches as well as studying college and NFL film to stay on top of my game mentally.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Being a self motivated individual, as well as a leader. A coach will never have to get on my case for being lazy or not watching film. I will motivate teammates and build relationships with everyone in the building. Ability wise a team will gain a student of the game who will pick a defense apart. I’m a pocket passer at heart, however I’ve worked to gain the ability to escape the pocket and throw accurately on the run. Knowing what happens pre-snap helps dictate where I go with the football.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

There are guys who are bigger, faster, stronger. But there will not be a guy who works harder, is more committed and as detailed as I am. My numbers and stats will back me up. Not many cats throwing for 11k+ yards in a career.
