Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

I had goals to win the conference. We were not able to accomplish this, but set a great example for the younger guys coming up. Some goals that I set for my final collegiate season were to lead the nation in solo tackles. I was able to accomplish this and tie my school record from the year before with 111 tot tkls. Back to back seasons averaging 11.1 tackles per game.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I would say that my coaches and teammates would describe me as a hard worker who wants his teammates to succeed. Someone who is willing to give it their all everyday despite the circumstances.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

I always try and pick out my weaknesses and put an emphasis on improving those areas. When studying film on myself I always look to improve my Football IQ. I put a big emphasis on being a smart football player. When studying myself I would say I can always continue to improve on my block shedding and pass coverage.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

When you turn on my film I’m not limited to anything specifically. I can fly around sideline to sideline all four quarters. My pass coverage allows me to shut down the middle of the field. My physicality and football IQ allow me to excel at my position. I put a major emphasis on film study to ensure that’s I am a step ahead on many plays. I also set up my teammates for plays which is ver beneficial at the linebacker position.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I am currently combine prepping at Elite Football Academy here in Saint Louis Missouri. I will also be getting in field work at my Alma Mater. I will be doing speed work 3 days a week and weight room work 4 days a week combined with position specific drills.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I would say my leadership is one of my biggest strengths since I am able to stay calm in stressful situations and make sure everyone is lined up correctly before the play. My leadership will also help off the field by making smart decisions and keeping the main thing the main thing(Football). My ability to analyze offenses and fly to the ball will be a major help to any organization.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

You’ll be getting a team first guy that has an exceptional motor and work ethic. I will be able to make an impact on all special teams and contribute on defense as a headhunter.
