Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?
Some of my goals were to establish myself as a dominant defensive back and to help lead my team to victories. I wanted to be the defensive leader that my team could rely on.
Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?
Versatile, consistent, relentless.
Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?
I trained with Austin Kaigler at YSU and Terry Grossetti at Grossetti Performance.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?
When studying film, I initially determine who the offense’s primary targets are. After that, I will look for tendencies of players which are usually from the QB and alignments of skilled players. I will also go over a team’s tendencies based on down and distance. Lastly, I will recognize game behavior of a team as the game progresses.
Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?
My ability to effectively play and dominate at multiple defensive positions on the field including Nickel, Dime, CB, and Safety. I eliminate a team’s primary target completely.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I will bring a relentless mentality every day to be the best player. I am dominant on both special teams and defense. I will embrace my role, but never be content where I am at in the moment. A team can expect somebody who will come in and be a natural leader by example.
Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
I am ready to come in and contribute to the organization by any means necessary. Picking me up, you will get a baller.
