Q: What goals did you accomplish heading into your final collegiate season?
I was the forced fumble NCAA Statistical Champion in 2017. I was voted to the All-PSAC team this past season in 2018. Most importantly, I was voted for the “Ultimate Warrior” award by my teammates in the 2017 season.
Q: What would your coaches say about the type of player you are?
I think they would say that I am a tough, hard working, and dedicated player that does his best to lead the guys he is around.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
I study the tendencies, strengths, and weaknesses of the opposing offense, both as individual players and as an entire unit collectively. Then, I figure out ways in which I can have an impact in the upcoming game and where I fit within our gameplan.
Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?
I believe I bring a certain level of versatility to the safety position. I’m a physical tackler, I cover in zone, I man up on WRs at the nickel spot, and I’ve been able to force turnovers. There isn’t a spot on the field where I would be a liability.
Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?
I’ll train with the same mentality I’ve always had when training; giving it everything I’ve got and try to maximize my potential as a football player.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I bring lots of energy to the field and am able to raise the level of play of the guys around me. Off the field, I work to be a positive figure in the community and conduct myself as a professional.
Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
Just know that you’ll get a savvy, coachable guy, that loves to be part of a team and will work to be the absolute best player I can possibly be.
