Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

The goals I had set for this season were FCS All-American and Missouri Valley All-Conference, while showing I was one of nastiest Offensive Lineman in college football. The goals I reached were Missouri Valley All-Conference, while considering myself one of the nastiest Offensive Lineman in college football, playing through the echo of the whistle and finishing my defender as much as possible.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I think my coaches and teammates would say that I’m a great person/teammate to have in the locker room, I have a fun personality, and find the great/positives in everything. I enjoy having fun with the guys, but when it’s time to lock in, we’re locked in ready to go. Between the white lines, he was a guy who never took a play off and we could always count on him to get his job done.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

Studying film is something I take great pride in whether it has to do with myself or my opponents for the week. Within myself, I’m a huge stickler, so the mistakes I make I’m constantly asking myself why I misplaced my hands, or took that false step. Why did I overreach a tight five on inside zone? That is just something I take great pride in my game with. Within my opponent, I’m watching their tendencies. What are their tendencies on third and long? What games do they tend to run? What are their strengths? What are their weaknesses?

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

Physicality and playing through the echo of the whistle. Two things that an offensive line coaches can’t teach. Offensive line coaches can preach and teach technique, but at the end of the day a great offensive lineman has to be a physical/nasty dude.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My off-season plan to prepare myself for professional opportunities, include making a huge emphasis on flexibility and continue to get stronger in my lower half.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

My biggest strength that I would bring to any team would be my versatility. Being able to play all five positions, and having experience at all of them.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I will bet on myself 100 out of 100 times. When it comes to getting the job done, there are no other options. It is wired in me to put in the work and deliver on what I say I will do, and I can assure you, I will do it.
