Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
In my final season I accomplished the goals of finishing my collegiate career finish top 5 in school history in passing yards, touchdowns, completions, yards per game, yards per completion, passing efficiency & completion percentage. All within 2 1/2 years of being a starter.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My coaches and teammates would talk about my work ethic and the standard I hold myself to so my teammates can follow the high example I carry myself in.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
When watching film I try to notice how the safety’s play whether the be aggressive or if they have tendencies to show a roll down or coverage. This helps me in game to know what I’m going to see pre snap and can make reads quicker.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
My separation is my football IQ along with my accuracy to place the ball anywhere I need to be. My ability to extend plays with my legs and continue to look downfield is also one of my strong points that makes it hard for a defensive to contain all areas.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
My off-season plans remain similar to past years I have been blessed to train and work with the greatest trainers and high caliber athletes to push me to be the best. To prepare for professional opportunities I will continue to try to weight train and bulk up to 215-220 to have a more solid build and obviously train with a new size ball as much as I can.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
On and off the field my ability to lead my teammates on the field and in aspects of life helps build trust and keep them on the right path. Build trust and team chemistry among a team is one of the key ways to change a culture and set a winning example. On the field my abilities to run and throw is extremely hard to defend as I have learned in college taking what is available leads to sustaining drives and controlling the game.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
I will be the hardest worker on any team, whether I am the first string or bottom of the depth chart every rep I take is taken at full speed to better myself and my teammates. I will continue to work and better myself to help the team win in every way possible. My ability and accomplishments speak for themselves on my talent level, what makes me great is my mindset.
