What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

I planned on graduating with my bachelors degree which I was able to do. Apart from that I wanted to be the best teammate/player that I could be.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

I was able to gain another year of football experience as well as continue to put good things on film.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I would say they would describe me as a blue collar guy who works hard and just wants to help the team win with whatever role I’m given.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

I’m usually very critical of myself when watching my own play, but while preparing I’m looking for any tendencies that are consistent enough to trust.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I’m a versatile player who can play anywhere in the secondary. I’ve played weak safety wear you have to be in the box, take on blockers, run stop and be physical. I’ve also played free safety where you have to have lots of ranch and coverage ability, shut down parts of the field and even play man techniques. I also enjoy special teams and have played them my entire career and this past season I was able to start on defense as well as all four phases of special teams.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I’m training at my university right now while also getting started on my masters degree.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Blue collar work ethic who takes pride in the little things. Selfish player. I don’t care what my role is as long as I touch the field. Leadership qualities. Toughness. Play through injuries. Physical. Good motor. Runs to the ball. Loves special teams. Good ball skills. Good Instincts.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

My final pitch to the NFL and any pro league is I’m ready to come in and get to work. Whatever I have to do to touch the field I’m ready to do. Pleeeaassee put me on kickoff and or punt gunner!
