Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?
Some goals were to play every game like my last because you never know when your time in the game can be over and also to enjoy every moment with my brothers on my team.
Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?
Physical, Smart, Tough.
Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?
I will be training by running and working out every day, keeping my diet in order, and taking advantage of any opportunity that comes my way to better myself.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?
I look for the tendencies of players on defense I will be playing against most, Defensive Ends and Linebackers. I watch to see Defensive End’s tendencies on run stopping and pass rushes and watch to see how Linebackers cover and try to see weaknesses.
Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?
I have great confidence in my ability to catch the ball in traffic and have always took pride in lifting weights and being as strong as I can be to benefit my blocking.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I think a good strength I have is the ability to lead by example. In the classroom, I took my work seriously and always tried to maintain the highest grades possible and was always willing to help teammates and classmates excel in their work. The same goes for in the weight room and on the field, I always give anything I do 110% and I think that is contagious and can make a real difference on a team.
Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
I am a fast learner and will always do anything I am asked to do to benefit the team. I’m a very hard worker and never quit when I’m faced with a task.
