Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

For the 2022 Football Season, I set a few goals pre-season that I wanted to accomplish. To begin, I wanted to get all-conference and make the transition to becoming a more productive offensive lineman as well as more specifically, offensive tackle by increasing my in-game performance and endurance from the previous 2021 Football season. With that being said, I obtained Sunbelt all-conference (Third Team) and improved my overall performance from the previous year. I was also able to improve my flexibility by demonstrating that I can play multiple position on the offensive line proven this previous year as I have played LT, LG, and RT in multiple games.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

They would say that I am a leveled player, meaning that I do not let the situation determine how I play or interrupt my mental focus. I am a team-focused player, willing to do whatever the teams needs to put us in a better situation for example, switching into a different position in game if thats what is best for the line.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When studying opponent film, I tend to study body habits to understand the person I am up against and also give tips to my other players. I study the formations the defense use in what scenarios to give myself a competitive edge by knowing the likelihood of what the defensive line and secondary will do. Analyzing myself, I tend to observe what my giveaways are such as backing my leg further in my stance when I have to pull or where my hands tend to miss when I strike an opponent. Studying and improving upon these aspects are critical.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

My ability to stay level-headed in competition and comprehend body language to adjust how to block an opponent. My versatility also separates me from most.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

Train consistently everyday, anaylyze film of pro-athletes and try to emulate their habits, skills, and athleticism. Transition drills from the pros to my current abilities to make the transition into the next step to be able to compete at the highest level.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

My best strength is that I am versatile and able to adapt quickly. I leverage my strengths and learn from my weaknesses to evolve as a player. I understand what it takes to be an efficient leader but also how to be a receptive follower.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I am a player that is adaptable, versatile, willing to learn, and will be more than grateful for the opportunity. I will strive to continuously improve my game and evolve to become a better athlete at every level, I am coachable and always willing to apply valuable lessons from coaching.
