Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
In the conference I finished 8th for solo tackles, 9th in passes defended including 5 pass breakups and 2 interceptions, 15th in total tackles, 16th in tackles for a loss. Ended my season with a total of 57 tackles including 1 sack and 6 tackles for a loss.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
They would describe me as a competitor that can and will play any position you tell him to. They’ll describe me as someone who puts the needs of the team first and someone who isn’t afraid of the big moment. Someone who is always reliable.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
When watching film on myself I watch my pad level coming out of breaks and also look at the angles I take when coming down to tackle and also to make a play on the ball. When watching film on other teams I watch where the WR line up and what routes they run from those alignments. I also look at the formation and personnel they have in the game and see what routes and plays they run out of them.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
My mentality. I love to compete in everything I do. Competing the way I do day in and day out is the reason why I’ll continue to progress for my entire career while others won’t.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I had great strength coaches at Stonehill, with their help in the off-season I’ll have a program made specifically for me from coaches that have watched me play and progress. I’ll have all the equipment I need to make myself as ready as possible for the next level.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
My leadership qualities both on and off the field make me a great person to have in the locker room and on the field. I love competition and welcome it at all times. This mentality I carry allows me the ability to always progress on the field and make my teammates better in the process.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
I’m a player that both my future coaches and teammates will love. There are thousands of other football players out there but theirs only one me. I bring the ability to make big plays at any position I play. All I need is an opportunity to showcase my abilities.
