School: Carroll College/Weber State
Position: C/OG
Height: 6-2
Weight: 306

Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

So I transferred to Weber State for my last season of collegiate football. Some goals that I had set were: to start every game, and to be a leader on the team. I accomplished both of those goals this last year.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I think that my coaches would say that I am a skilled competitive football player who is always trying to improve my game by working my tail off both on and off the field. My teammates over the years have referred to me as somebody they can look up to and come to when they need motivation or help with something. A lot of my teammates believe in me and my journey and they know that since I started this journey I have worked like my life depended on it.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When I watch film I first break down the other teams defense. I find the guys that their defense is built around and how they expose offenses to allow their best players go make plays. I then study the dline and what moves they like to use and how they play during the run game. I then tell my scout team what I see and try to get them to emulate that to the best of their abilities. I also stay after practice and work on drills that will benefit me against the competition that said week.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I think something that separates me is how much I care and how well I communicate with my team and fellow Olinemen. I am a smart guy that can pick up offensive schemes quickly while learning how to relay information to my teammates effectively. As a center communication to your fellow Olinemen is of great importance and I think I do that very well.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

So this off-season I attended 2 bowl games the Podyum All-Star bowl and the Dreambowl. I played well at those camps/games in hopes of reaching some scouts. What’s next for me this off-season is a training camp down in Alabama at the start of February. My people and I are still figuring out all of the details for the training camp but they should all be done by the end of this week.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

My strengths are my attitude, effort, and leadership qualities that I display when playing the game of football. Some abilities that I bring is adaptability, physical strength, good footwork, strong hands, and good feet in pass pro. Off the field I am one of those guys who doesn’t buy into the desires of partying, drinking, or extracurricular activities. I always advise that my teammates and friends think about their actions and repercussions before they do what it is they are going to.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

My last pitch to the NFL would be that up to this point everywhere I played I was one of those guys who were dependable, hard working, and dedicated to the game of football. I have never missed a football game from high school to College and I managed to avoid injuries besides a broken finger in my junior season in which I still played every game. I know I have what it takes to play in the NFL I just need the opportunity to prove it to everyone.
