What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

Since I battled serious injuries my junior year, my main goal this season was to stay as healthy as possible, and finish the season strong, which I accomplished. As a result of my hard work, I earned opportunities to play in bowl games, as well as participate in multiple combines. I also set goals to be a team captain and win All Conference. I did become a team captain, but unfortunately fell short of All Conference. However, I used that as fuel to push and grind this off season, which has only pushed me further towards my personal goals.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

I got after it in the weight room and got bigger, faster, stronger. I really focused on the small details of my basic movements and reads so my mind is a lot sharper now growing in the linebacker position.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

They would say I am a hard worker with a lot of tenacity and drive who would leave it all out there on the field and plays with a lot of passion and grit. Someone that’s coachable and leads by example.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

After watching myself every play to see what I could have done better each play, I watch the opposite teams OLine, RBs, QB the most because being in the box that is who I’m dealing with the most.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

Two things that separate me from other prospects is my lateral quickness being able to get from one edge of the box to another a few steps. The second thing is my versatility playing MLB and also rushing the edge on 3rd down like I did my senior year.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I just finished training for the Dream Bowl, which I performed very well at. I usually work out with my personal trainer in Maryland, but I have to finish up my last semester at Clarion University. Until then, I will continue my training daily, incorporating heavy lifting and skill work. Maintaining a strict diet has also been very important for me. Along with these things, I have also been working towards hiring an agent that would help open even more doors to opportunities towards my professional goals.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Off the field I am a true born leader who holds himself and others accountable because we all have the same goal. My ability to show my resilience and persevere through pain and injuries allows me to be available on the field.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

If you are looking for a linebacker who can be versatile and play wherever on the field you need them, I am your guy. Defense/ Special teams I will give my 100% effort every time I touch the field. All the things you can’t teach like heart, passion, and grit I will show day in and day out.
