Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
Majority of the goals I set for myself involved contributing in any way I could to put my team in the best possible position to win games; it just so happen that role was me following teams #1 wether that be outside or slot and taking them out of the game. So this allowed to to check off the goal of one helping my team but also work on my craft and develop a skill set I hope to master in the league one day and that’s become that shut down corner.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My coaches and teammates would say I’m a grinder non stop 24/7 always around football kind of guy wether that’s putting in extra work in the weight room, on the field or in the film room I devote everything to my craft.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
When studying film of myself I check to see my miscues depending on what I was given by a receiver or how I reacted to a certain play, formation or even motion and from then I see how I can not only improve but put myself in the best position to make a play next time I’m faced in that situation. When watching film on opponents I’m very big on tendencies wether that’s at the L.O.S or the kind of route they prefer to run how they are when they aren’t getting the ball to when they are and most important formation tendencies because that’s what will tell me the route concepts to expect.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
What separates me from other pro prospects is my hunger this game is bigger than myself every time I line up on that island of that field I represent my children mother and my whole family in the Ivory Coast on my back so I’m willing to do whatever it takes to win every snap no matter the cost.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
My offseason plan is to train with Chip Smith Performance Center, one of the best out there!
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
The strengths I feel I would bring to a team would be a outgoing selfless team guy and modeled citizen whose willing to do whatever it takes to help the organization achieve its goals because that’s what comes first.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?
My final pitch to any team out there looking for a all around player with great athleticism and not only knowledge but love for the game I’m your guy; I’m a very versatile player I have the attributes and instincts to thrive in a zone scheme but where I’m best at is press man to man where I will take myself any-day over the opponent based off the work that I put in wether in the off season of game week and just sheer will to win and worse case scenario I have 4.2 speed so can always rely on athleticism to make a play or most importantly play a big part on special teams!
