Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

Earning a scholarship for my final season was a major accomplishment for me as it helped validate all the work I put in over the past 5 seasons.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

The words I always get are inspirational and relentless. My inability to give up and desire to continually improve had an impact on them.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

I am always trying to understand the whys of each play. I want to know why the defense reacted a certain way, why the other offense linemen are blocking the way they do, and what the running back is reading.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

My football IQ. Since I am undersized, I need to rely on other things like knowledge to have success while playing. I have a strong understanding of the overall concepts of plays and what the offense is trying to accomplish instead of simply what I am supposed to do which allows me to have more success as a blocker.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I am doing combine specific training as well as taking on a weight gain plan to prepare for my pro day and other opportunities as these will be critical for me to make up for the small amount of film I have.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I have learned to use my lack of height to my advantage as a run blocker. Being shorter than most offensive linemen makes It easier for me to obtain leverage against defensive lineman than my counterparts.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?

You won’t find a player who loves the game of football and wants this more than I do.
