What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
My goal for myself was to win the National championship and I ended up accomplishing that goal.
Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?
I felt like it game me more of a chance to show off my skills and help me get better and not sit out a whole semester.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
They would say that I am a leader by actions and a great athlete. I am a great teammate and wants what’s best for the team. I am hard working and will do anything for the team to help us reach our goals.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
I study film before and after practice and I look for different formations, plays, routes, and offensive lineman on how they work through different plays.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I will always work hard both physically and mentally because I want to chase my dreams of being on the next level. I’ve worked hard to lead our defense and team to a national championship and an all American. I will do anything to be the best.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I have a friend back home that goes to Tulsa named Jaise Oliver that helps me train and work on my craft.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I can stop the run and pass and a great leader that can run the defense. Off the field I’m focused on getting better and trying to stay healthy.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
I am the one you need on your team. I work hard and try to be the best I can be. I will do anything for the team to help us get to our goals and nothing will stop me.
