Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
I really had one goal and that was to win a national championship and we fell short in the playoffs.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My coaches and teammates would say that I am the type of player to give their all every single day on and off the field, I come prepared and I lead by example.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
When studying film, I look at a lot of different things. When I am trying to perfect my craft, I watch mainly my technique, what coverage we were in to see how I could play it better, how I am getting in and out of my breaks, so basically the technique aspect of playing corner.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
The ability to shut a WR down and the preparation it takes to do it is what I believe separates me. I approach everything I do as a professional, taking care of my body, watching hours of film, putting in hours in the offseason, and loving every second of it. That’s what I can bring to the table.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
My offseason plan to train and get ready for a professional opportunity is simple, find somewhere and someone that I believe can get me to where I want to be and the rest is in my hands, just be locked in and grind.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
The strengths I will bring to a team is the ability to cover anyone, and my mental. Mental meaning, my ability to focus and my knowledge of the game is at a pretty high level, compared to most. Off the field, my willingness to help in the community and being able to communicate effectively to others around me.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?
My final pitch to the NFL is that, regardless of where I came from, I can play the game of football at the HIGHEST level in my position. All I need is the opportunity from any 32 teams to compete and I can guarantee it won’t be a surprise on what I can do for an organization.
