Q: What goals did you accomplish heading into your final collegiate season?

Being voted Team Captain two years in a row was a big goal and achievement and is something I really took pride in. Another goal I accomplished was being voted to All-Conference Honors two years in a row.

Q: What would your coaches say about the type of player you are?

They would say I am a huge competitor, a great leader and someone that is resilient by continuing to keep fighting and doing everything I can to win.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

Decision making based off what the defense is showing or what they’re trying to disguise. Certain tendencies that specific players on defense will show is something else I study. Also my mechanics from the feet up to help make accurate throws. I will also look at route and protection adjustments based off certain defensive looks and their vulnerabilities.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

My mechanics, ability to extend plays, accuracy, and arm strength are some of the qualities that separate myself from others.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

I am working with my trainer Austin Curtis (CPPS, CFPS, ISSA) at the Training Performance Center back in my hometown of Bloomington, IL that will help improve my strength, speed, conditioning and nutrition. I am also working with QB coach Luke Drone who works with Throw It Deep Academy.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I will always be a leader and back it up based off my actions. My passion and dedication is second to none so I will take every necessary step to help the team and organization succeed. My resilient mindset that shows on the field is another strength of mine. Character comes first above all for me, so I will be sure to not only continue to be a great athlete but be a great individual as well.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

You will be getting a playmaker and one of the most competitive players on the field. You’re never out of a game with me in there to make something happen. I am very coachable and love learning more everyday about the game of football. Most importantly you’re getting a leader and someone who values his character on and off the field.
