Q: What goals did you accomplish heading into your final collegiate season?
Going into my last season at Webber I pushed myself during the off-season workouts and spring practice to make sure I would be in my best shape to play 10 straight games at maximum effort. Off the field, I made sure my grade point average was well over a 2.5 because I always told myself a 2.5 is the lowest I could deal with in college.
Q: What would your coaches say about the type of player you are?
They would say that I’m the “go-to” man and that I don’t take any plays off. I’m not just a receiver that can make plays I also allow my teammates to make plays by blocking and holding them accountable.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
I focus on the precision of my routes and making sure that I’m always in the right spot because a route can look as good as it wants to be but if I’m not in the right spot then I’m a non-factor to the play.
Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?
The first thing would be my speed and quickness off the line. Also, I attack the ball every single play as if my life depended on it. I don’t let the defender feel like he has the advantage nor will I allow the referee to make a decision on if its pass interference or not I’m going to make every play.
Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?
My preparation will include a lot of mobility, fast twitch muscles, and explosion workouts. I feel that is one thing I can improve on is my flexibility.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
On the field I can play any of the receiver positions and can also be bumped into the backfield. Off the field, I am a strong believer of always having good character and will never allow myself to put my team or organization in a negative spotlight.
Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
If you are looking for a complete playmaker who can give you 110% every game then I’m your guy.
