Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?

The goals I had set for myself going into my final season included helping my team win conference, help my team get its first ever playoff birth, be first team All-Conference, and become an ALL-American

Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?

Physical, reliable, hard-nose football.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

Will workout with my trainer doing weights, agility work, position drills, and conditioning.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?

When I study film, I try to look for tendencies. I’ll look at down and distances and break down what type of fronts they are in for down and distances, what coverages they like to play in situations, when they like to bring blitzes, if anyone has any keys to watch for, for example if a Linemen switches the hand he normally has down when he’s slanting a certain direction. Just little stuff like that to help give me an edge.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

What separates me is my will do to whatever it takes to help the team. I’ll play anything you need me to and will always give you everything I have. I’ve also had to face major challenges in my football career, so overcoming adversity and growing from experiences is something I’m used to.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Some strengths I bring to any organization on and off the field is knowing that I can always be better. This motivates me to work harder everyday to be the best possible person and football player I could be. Another strength I have is I love the weight room and field work, so I will always be in there working trying to improve my craft.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

My final sales pitch to teams would be I have had to overcome a lot in my football career and it’s always pushed me to be better. Handling adversity is something I’m used to now. I’m willing to do whatever it takes to help you win. If you need me on all special teams, I’ll play all special teams. If you need me to switch positions, I’ll switch. Just ready to work and earn my way!
