Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?
My main goal going into the season was to do whatever I needed to do to help my team win a Conference and National Championship. Individually, I worked very hard to keep my body healthy and ready to go for a long season.
Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?
Smooth, explosive, versatile.
Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?
I am training at NX level in Waukesha, WI with Brad Arnett as my trainer. I am also working with receiver factory for receiver specific training. Eating correctly and getting my body right is my main focus during all my training.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?
When I’m watching DBs that I will be going against, I usually will look for their tendencies and what they really like to do. I try to see what they want me to do and figure out what I can do to beat them. Pre snap, I try to figure out tips that give away what coverage they will be in. This will involve not only reading the DB that is over me, but also Outside Linebackers and Safeties.
Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?
I think what separates me from other Receivers is my attention to detail in my releases and route running.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I think a strength of mine would be working as hard as I can at whatever I do. I think I can be very versatile as a Wide Receiver as well. I will work to learn the playbook very quickly and will try to learn each WR position.
Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
My final pitch would be that my whole life I’ve been overlooked, but I took advantage of every opportunity I have been given. I’m a fast learner, hard worker, and will give everything I have to help my team out.
