Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?

My individual goals going into my Senior season were to average 1 turnover per game and be selected as All-American. I also strived to become a team captain and help lead my team to a conference championship.

Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?

Smart, Physical, and Confident.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

I have already started training at Engard Athletics in Arizona to help me prepare for next level opportunities.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?

Formations are important, they dictate ball games and allow me to recognize down and distance tendencies. I read low hat/high hat of the offensive line, player alignments, splits, and overall seeing the big picture and the play develop.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

What separates me is my speed and intelligence. I have Cornerback speed, with Safety physicality. I also pride myself on being a smart football player, such as, getting everyone aligned and having an idea of what is coming from the offense before it does.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Leadership: I strive to develop strong relationships off the field first, that way teammates and coaches can respect and trust me as a leader on the field. Work ethic: I am committed to being the best I can be physically and no one will out work me.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

I didn’t go to college right out of high school, I had to walk on to keep playing football and have overcome adversity to get to where I’m at now. I’m confident I can play at the next level, as my performance this year has shown, and I’m prepared for the opportunity, wherever it may arise.
