College: Lakeland

Height: 5’10”

Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?

Kevyn: Versatile, aggressive, competitor.

Q: How are you going to train/prepare this offseason in preparation for the draft or other pro opportunities?

Kevyn: I’ve been training with our track coach working on my speed and techniques, along with working out with my defensive back coach from high school.

Q: If you could compare yourself to one current or former NFL player who would it be and why?

Kevyn: I would compare myself to TJ Ward, we’re both physical safeties that can not only cover in space, but can be a force in the box which makes me capable of being a player coaches can move around in the defense.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?

Kevyn: When studying film, I focus on tendencies of the offensive scheme itself along with the tendencies of the player lining up against me and coaches hand gestures between each other and the players.

Q: What separates you from other players at your position?

Kevyn: What separates me from players at my position is I’m a sure tackler and I’m comfortable being placed in man coverage with little to no help, I’ve done it my entire college career while the safety position in other defenses are support players helping over top, I can do both.

Q: What kind of abilities would you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Kevyn: I will bring a spirit to practice everyday trying to make the players around me better anyway I can, I’m a team player and will do anything the team needs no matter what. Off the field I’m a player you don’t have to worry about getting involved in any negative activity.

Q: What is your final pitch/sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

Kevyn: My final pitch is give me a chance and I promise you won’t regret it, everyday I will come in and give maximum effort and do whatever is best for the team.
