Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

I challenged myself to play at a higher collegiate level, by becoming a graduate transfer and transitioning from the NAIA to the the Division 1 level. I achieved that goal by transferring to Southern Utah University, starting 9 out of 11 games, and having the highest percentage of snaps played by CBs on the team. While I fell short of my interception goal, I was able to hold opposing receivers to a low catch rate and solidify myself as an all around player by making big plays on special teams.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

Coaches describe me as a great individual, bringing out the best in others. Teammates recognize me as one of the hardest workers, leading on and off the field, emphasizing my effort in special teams and meticulous preparation in scouting opponents.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When studying film, I focus on formations, nuances with WR alignment, and their tendencies out of those alignments to build play recognition. Studying those tendencies helps me play with confidence, and make more plays when my team needs them the most.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

My work ethic towards my craft distinguishes me. I give 110% to master my craft, making myself more distinguishable by being willing and persistent. My road to this level has been long and instilled a grit that has continually made me hungry. No matter the task, I’m willing to give my all to win.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My offseason plan includes showcasing talents at bowl games, training in Los Angeles, and working with experienced coaches for positional work and speed/combine training.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I bring versatility, being ready to contribute in any defensive package, and leadership abilities that can grow with mentorship. Off the field, I am a leader who shows high character and have the integrity to take the initiative to keep myself and teammates out of trouble.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I’m ready to contribute to any organization in the NFL, no matter my path to make the team. I am a valuable asset and I possess what it takes to play at a high level in the NFL and be an asset to the surrounding community.
