Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
I was elected as a team captain by my coaches and players. I set out to be one of the best defensive lineman. My goal every single day was to get better at something specific in my craft.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
I am a resilient and passionate player that plays with a high motor and sees the game very well.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
I focus on the small details of the game and myself as a player to find areas that can assist and allow myself to create plays.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
My ceiling has not been reached so I feel that I have a lot of upside, and I’ve continuously showed improvements through each season and game. My hands and block destruction are a strength of mine. Also, my knowledge of the game allow me to align and defeat blocks.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I will train with my strength staff at Southern Illinois University to prepare for pro day and work with my defensive line coach to continue improving my craft.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Off the field, I am a player any team wants because I get what it takes and I know how to lead and positively impact others around me. On the field, my motor and tenacity to get to the ball are strengths of mine Also, my knowledge of the game is a huge strength of mine because it allows me to play all positions on the DL , play fast and be productive.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
I am a reliable and impact player you want on your team that is going to win his one on ones and demand double teams.
