Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

My first goal of the season was to go out and be force in all phases of the field, on defense as well as special teams to help us get a three peat as champions. We came short but still had a great winning season and was able to do what I wanted. My next goal was to have more sacks(7.5) than I did last year. I came up short but I improved on making tfls in the backfield, my ability to play in space, Cover any position down the field and learned from my coaches on how to improve in the next level.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I show up everyday and I play hard, I’m team player that has a passion for the game of football and doesn’t mind helping the man next to him.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When watching film the thing I do to improve my game is to first go over my practice film to see my mistakes or things I can do better the next day to prepare myself for game day. Throughout that process I watch every position of the opponent on the offense to find their tendencies. From the qb depth, where the ball is placed and what they run based of where the offense is aligned, to the O linemen stances and things they are show through out the game to help me get my pre snap reads. And how they react to certain things that happen throughout the course of the game, etc.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

What separates me from other pro athletes is my abilities to do anything on the field I’m not a one dimensional player. I can cover any position on the field, fill gaps, rush off the edge, and fly down anywhere on special teams if needed to make an impact. Neither do I feel like I have reached my peak in my performances, I can always get better down the line with work and gaining knowledge from others.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

For the off season I have a plan to work on every aspect that will be involved in pro day to make sure I impress the scouts that will be attending. Learning from anyone help better me better my craft and my state of mind. I’ll be working with my trainers on my strengths, agility, speed, as well as my weaknesses.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

My strengths and abilities I can bring to the team on the field would be, making an impact in whatever is needed for my team to be successful. And I’ll do that by making plays when my name is called and showing my dedication everyday, then bring positivity to others around me. And off the field I would say just always being that guy my brother can call for anything and be a loyal guy making sure things they do off the field will always be beneficial to them, I’ll never have a teammate out doing something that can hurt his career I know how much I love the game as well as the people that play it.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I’m not afraid of being in harsh positions or hard work I’m dedicated to everything I do on and off the field. I’ll do whatever it takes to be successful and help my team in all aspects, I’m coachable and ready to excel at the next level given the opportunity. I’m guaranteed to work hard and be an impact on a professional roster.
