Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

Senior year happened twice for me. My actual senior season I set a goal to be All-American. Up this point, I hadn’t even made any sort of All-Conference team but I was determined to make a name for myself. I got stronger, faster, and focused more on my techniques than ever and that season I had 12 sacks and 20.5 tfls and received First-Team All-American. I realized I was not quite ready to be done yet. I took my extra year of eligibility from Covid and set another personal goal to be All-American again. With the previous year recognition, there was a target on my back. I saw more double teams every game and had to find a way to be a leader, captain, and work harder than the previous year. i finished with 3.5 sacks, 18 tfls, and 59 total tackles. I earned Second Team All-American recognition.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches and teammates would say that I am a smart player, a team player, and hard-working. All of these are very controllable and I think that is something I take the most pride in. Control what you can control.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

have wanted lots of practice and game film. When I go over these clips, I am studying the little things including footwork and hand placement. These emphasis on these details improve my game to its highest level.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I did not come from the biggest school but I have realized the amount of work it takes to improve, succeed, and excel.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I plan to continue to stay in the weight room and improve my speed and strength. I also want to improve my diet in order to have to best body composition.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I am disciplined, and I will always give my all to achieve success. I take coaching very well as I always am looking to improve my game.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I am not from the biggest school and I won’t be the most athletic, but that has been the case my whole life. My talent is self-made through hard work, discipline, and a desire to be a successful football player. I will continue to do that in any opportunity I have moving forward. If given the opportunity, I will contribute to the team in any way needed.
