Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

99% of my goals for my final season were team orientineted such as winning a championship and being a top defense in the conference while changing the culture of the school. I fell short of a chamopionship but we did complete in the first ever HBCU Florida beach bowl and finish with the #1 ranked defense in the nation among Division II.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches would say that I’m a very smart and attentitive player with great knowledge of the game and my position. They would also tell you that I’m going to give you 110% no matter the circumstance, high film hours, and a great locker room guy that teammates can easily bond with. Also that I will shutdown one side of the field consistently.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When watching film I like to study tendencies, route concepts, down and distance, body language and more to better prepare myself for the game. I watch myself over and over to critique my technique good and bad. I also study all ten positions on the field to better understand the whole defensive scheme as well as the opposing scheme.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

Many things separate me from other pro prospects. The biggest thing being the adversity I’ve faced to be where I am today. I learned great life long lessons and gained many meaningful characteristics not only as a athlete but off the field as well. Also I’m a 6 foot 2 cornerback and could move my hips as well as anyone in the draft. I also have the versatility to play any position in the secondary as well as special teams.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

This offseason I plan to sign an agent to assist me with opportunities that will come. I also plan to do speed training, position specific training as well as combine preparation with former Pro cornerback Chris Cook.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Any team drafting me will get a long rangy corner that can play all positions in the secondary. Also will be being a dedicated teammate and a great lockeroom guy. I will also always maintain a positive and professional image on and off the field.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

My final pitch to the NFL is that I am a true diamond in the rough. I have grown and learned so much through adversity. I can play every position in the secondary as well as be a high motor on special teams. I’m a natural born leader with a extreme love and passion for the game. I have many “whys” so my motivation to play this game never has to be questioned. I just need ONE shot to show that I’m still the same 4 star athlete I was coming out of high school just much more fine tuned, smarter, faster, and stronger. I’m interested in the NFL, XFL, CFL etc. I just need an oppurtunity to show who I am as a person and player!
