Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
The major goal I set for myself was to finish the season healthy & develop into an elite player. I finished the season stronger with positive body changes, as well as improved my game as a player.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
They would say that I’m the type of player to brighten up the room, bring the energy, positive attitude, and always take care of my teammates, especially the young guys who are the future of the team.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
The little details. My get off, hand placement, extension, maintaining my gap. Also, establishing my reads and keys against the man lined up across from me. Studying their tendencies and going at their weaknesses.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
My athletic ability and style of play at my size. I run a 4.4 40, along with a 42” inch vertical that both transfers to the field. I am effective at multiple positions and will learn them quickly. I love special teams as some prospects shy away from that.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I have 2 great strength & conditioning coaches who are preparing me back home in Kansas City (MO), and Houston.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
My overall talent, leadership, work ethic, communication, and most importantly my IQ.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
I bring a relentless work ethic, strategic mindset, and a passion for the game. My adaptability and commitment to excel makes me an asset on and off the field.
