Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

Some goals I set for myself this season was to get stronger and faster throughout the season. That’s with running extra sprints and doing extra work in the weight room. Also, with the opportunities I got on the field, I wanted to make plays whenever I was in the backfield whether I was getting the ball or not. I wanted to excel with every opportunity I got, which I feel I accomplished.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches and teammates will say that I am an electric player as well as a team player. I bring a special intensity when I run, catch, or block. As much time as I spend reaching to accomplish my goals, I also take the time to help our future backfield with things such as understanding the playbook, giving tips not just inside of football, but also with any situations they may be facing, and also encouraging them to stay on top of school.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

The things I look for to improve my game is reading the defense. Being able to see the defensive tendencies and reading the defensive coverages. Also, I like to look at my position when im watching film to see the weaknesses in the defense and being able to evaluate how I would run the ball for the upcoming opponent.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

What separates me from other pro prospects is that I’m not just a regular football player. I take pride into this game. Football is all I know and whatever opportunity I get on the field im going to maximize it at 100% every chance I get. I’m a Dog on the field and I hold myself to a higher standard each day. This is what I love, and I take pride into things that I love and care about. It takes grit to be a standout player and I intent to encompass such standards through putting my all into every play and not going down without a fight.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My offseason plan is to get faster, stronger, and improve my vision as a Running back of course. However, I want to improve my football IQ. Professional football is at a higher pace then college football so I would like to improve my mental capacity so I can be able to excel in my play book and on the field.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I’m not a very talkative person but I’m a leader. I like to put my teammates in position for all of us to succeed so we can play to the best of our abilities. I hold myself to a high standard and as a leader, it is only right to do the same for my teammates as well in order for the entire team to be on one accord. Heart and discipline beats talent any day.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

My final pitch would be that I am a professional first. I will not take any of my opportunities for granted. I will excel and do whatever Is needed for our team to win. I love this game and I care for it, just like I care for my loved ones. No professional team will be disappointed in the way I respond to challenges and adversity as well. I’m a student, leader, then player. I just need the opportunity to showcase my talents and abilities and I promise that I will not be a disappointment.
