Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

The main one for me was to take on a bigger leadership role and I did that with being a captain. I wanted to help lead our defense and team with being a guy who had played a lot of football. I don’t like to set statistical goals, but my biggest goal for this year was not having any regrets of how i prepared, like going into each day with the same mindset/energy. Things like attacking practice harder and doing everything right off the field to help my play on the field which I accomplished in my eyes.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

They would say that I’m a very smart/savvy football player that has a great understanding for the game and makes people around him better. While at the same time can say that I can play in multitude of different fronts and is a very versatile linebacker.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

The biggest thing when I watch film for me is picking up tendencies and little giveaways what offenses do to prepare for a game. I love feeling a step ahead and anticipating something you watched on film to give you confidence and play fast.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I think the combination of versatility with my football IQ. Played in a very complex defense where I’ve done a lot of different things while expanding my football knowledge with the help of my coaches at URI.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

Don’t have one set in stone yet. Have to figure out who will represent me, while finding the place where I will train for the pro day.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I think the biggest thing is a guy who loves football and treats it like a pro. I am someone who truly loves the game and has always treated it like a job. Also am a linebacker who is sideline to sideline and can play all three downs. And like I said before, am someone who is very versatile and can do a lot of different things while having a high football IQ.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

With me you are going to get a guy who is going to take advantage of any opportunity I get. Everyday I try and be someone who every coach/teammate wants on their team while being someone who produces on the field. I also will be long snapping at my pro day because before URI I snapped at Boston College as well.
