Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
In my final collegiate season, I simply wanted to play my absolute best football. I wanted to not only make the splash plays, but make my reads every time so that my teammates are able to make their plays as well.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My coaches and teammates would say that I am a leader. They would say that I am a competitor and a guy who is going to give a practice rep the same intensity as a game rep.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
When studying film, I try to look at any cues that will tell me whether the play is run or pass. Usually, I’m paying attention to the formation and personnel tendencies. Then, from there, I tend to key in on the tackles and see what giveaways I can pick up in their alignments.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
What separates me from other pro prospects at my position is my speed and versatility. My speed and being able to make adjustments and adapt to anything on the fly are two things that I’ve always taken pride of in my game.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
My off-season plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities is to work with my coaches on a strength and speed program that will best prepare me for any combine and pro days. I also plan to find an agent and network for any off-season opportunities.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Strengths and abilities that I bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field are my mentality and my character. My mentality and the intensity I play with is what can bring the most out of the guys around me. My character has always brought me to the right place and allowed me to make the right choices. I feel that having that on a team can not only encourage better players but us to be better people.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
My final pitch is to all coaches, NFL and other pro leagues, if you decide to take a chance on me, I will fill whatever roll that I am asked to and improve the team in some shape, form, or capacity. You will be receiving a player that is ready to work, and a God-fearing man who knows right from wrong and ultimately, prioritizes the team’s success.
