Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

I was 3rd leading tackler on my team senior year with 65 tackles as free safety. I also had two interceptions. I also won “ MOST INSPIRATIONAL ATHLETE OF THE YEAR” my sophomore year of playing football. I had a goal of making 1st or 2nd Team All-Conference.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coach once told me that I’m the hardest worker on the team, and he wishes he had 10 more Tillmans on the field. My teammates know I’m a great teammate I’m the guy they can call if they need mature advice or stuck in a sticky situation, I got their back. I value being my “brother’s keeper”.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

While watching film, I take key notes on Who’s the QB and how does he play?, what arm does he through with? where does he like to throw the ball, etc.? Top 3 formations? Top 3 Personnel? Trick plays? What type of plays do they on run on certain Down and distances? Who are their best WRs? What type of routes do he run and on which formation does he run them? What other things do I notice about the rest of the wide receivers group? I work to increase my overall IQ and knowledge to make the game flow easy and less thinking.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

My intelligence/IQ. I will be the smartest player on the field. I’ll be making plays like I’m a veteran player because of how much I’ll study what the other team will be doing and everyone’s job on the defense. Having a coach’s mindset as player will set my above everyone with doing my job.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My plan is to train at Sanford Power, a sports specific program for combine training. On the side, I’ll do extra activities, such as boxing and track drills, to enhance my football game performance and to be in top physical condition.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

When I step on the field, my mindset is to dominate my opponent, every play, no plays off, doing my job at an elite level with no fear or doubt. I do elite training to become an elite athlete and a tough football player. I’m fearless on the field. I have great recovery speed. I naturally flip hips and get in and out of breaks. I have great instincts. I can fly up the alley to support in the run game and against screens. I can play man or zone. I’m an elite free safety prospect that displays great range to cover sideline to sideline. I have great leaping ability with the knack to high point the ball or take it away from taller receivers.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

My willingness to work hard combined with my football IQ makes me a great team player. I love to train and study the game. My efforts mentally and physically will make me a great addition to any team.
