Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My coaches would say I’m a natural born leader, unique, a light switch when it comes to having fun and being zone in. Just an overall competitor that wants to win.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
When studying film I try too focus on my game first and see things were I can get better at when it comes to releases, Blocking, and getting open in certain coverages . I always wanted to see things before they happen to make the game as simple . The more I study and take it into practice the more confident I am. I’m not the biggest, fastest, more athletic but watching film has allow me to make plays and be the best player out there.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
Just being a technician to my craft. How can I beat you by using what I got my quickness and route running ability. Not the tallest or fastest so I use my coaching and training to help me be good at my position. And I never back down from the best.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
My plan is to test well at my pro day. Compete in the showcases that I got invited too. Training in Dallas where I’m around great athletes from all over which is why I’m going to do well in the this process and to take full advantage of the knowledge that I’m getting during these 3 months.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
My strengths I’m bringing to a team is my versatility playing special teams and crating explosive plays. Being a team player and being a sponge. Also just my work ethic because this sport is competitive and my ability to compete and make other people better including my self. And hopefully inspire someone.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
I’m just a kid from Mansfield, TX wanting an opportunity to showcase my God gifted ability and all the work that I put in. Whatever team picks me up will get a hard worker, who strives to me a better version of themselves day in and day out.
