Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season? 

The goals I set for my final collegiate season were more team related, understanding the potential that my team had. I set forth to achieve the most wins in program history since 1988.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

The perfect way to describe the type of player I am is passionate and caring. I believe I literally wear my heart on my sleeve. Ten times out of ten I would rather take the heat for something rather than my teammates, because I know that I can handle it. I love instilling confidence in those around me.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

I study film almost every chance that I can get. I am what most would call an office rat, most times I am found in the office watching film whether it’s on the opponents or on myself attempting to develop as a player.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position? 

Growing up I was never picked for awards and it’s pretty funny to say because everyone always thinks athletes attempting to pursue a further career are always superior athletes. I’ll be honest sometimes I was the best athlete, as I got older and into more competitive settings it was not always like that. Now, what separates me is my resilience.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I have been working out three times a day, three times a week. I workout twice in the morning, my first workout consists of more combine drills, speed and agility focused. After that I get in the gym for a weight training session. Later in the evening, there is more position based training.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

My ability to be coachable. I think I am able to be coached a lot tougher than others because I am able to separate my feelings and understand what is being said, not necessarily how something is said.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I understand the process, there aren’t any hard feelings. However, if you don’t believe me now, you will believe me later.
