Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
The only goals I had set for the final season were to win games, lead and put my teammates into position to succeed, and dominate my matchup and weekly game-plan(s).
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
They would say that I don’t care the situation, what position I am at, I am going to play my brand of ball.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
When studying film of my matchup I look for tendencies, releases, body language, hand positioning by O-linemen, backfield and receiver alignments. When watching myself I focus on footwork, it’s a game of inches and one wrong step can result in 6 points because you didn’t hit your gap or landmark.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
What separates me would be my detail for the game, I think my IQ allowed me to make plays over my physical abilities throughout my career.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
Off-Season plan is to just continue to work and stay in the gym. Currently started a career as a fresh graduate, but I’m still doing what I got to do to improve my physical traits and skills.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Everyone will know that it’s business. When you’re around me you’re going to want to work, I also believe I bring a large amount of leadership to the table.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
I just want to play ball. Special teams, defensive packages, if you need me to wash down a DE on the goal-line let’s go. My assignment will be met and exceeded, wherever I am.
