Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

In my final collegiate season I wanted to first become a great leader all around and surpass my stats from last year. I was coming back from a broken ankle I occurred against University of Georgia in my last game, so being able to show that I’m back to normal was big. I did not accomplish it all around, but I had more tackles than I did last year.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

Coaches would say that I am a very reliable person and that they know I’m going to give them everything I got no matter what it is. I give people a sense of comfort on the field when they’re playing with me they know I have their back. I’m also a student of the game so they know I’m going to be prepared for most things.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When I study film I look at how my pad level, my recognition and little things I critique myself on to make sure I maximize the player I am. I also study tendencies from the opponents OC and by positions that give me an upper hand on what is coming.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

What separates me is that I have shown that I can play multiple places in the secondary. I’ve played nickel, free safety, strong safety. I have been in the box a couple of times. So I try to be someone that you can plug in to multiple places to get the job done. I also am a huge student of the game. I’m always studying film whether on my phone or in some way I am trying to get better.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I’m training with some great people In the low country. Coach Jamie Fordham (The Factory) and Devin Brown (B2C training) both coming from Coastal. We have a pretty good plan to excel and make some great things happen.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

On the field I am basically another coach in the field just from my knowledge of the game. I also think of myself as a technician so I am always trying to get better and make sure I’m in the best position to make the play I don’t rely solely on one thing I make sure I’m well rounded. Off the field I have been a positive impact and leader in my community throughout the years.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

My final pitch to the NFL is that if you give me a chance I’m gonna take it and run with it and you won’t regret it. I’ve proven that through all the adversity I faced I’ve never treated a moment bigger than what it is or backed down from anything.
