Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

The two main goals I set for myself and ended up achieving was being able to start and play in every game this season and to make 1st team All mountain west.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

I was able to improve in my lower body strength through the extra year. I narrowed down my weaknesses and attacked them to become an all around player. Explosiveness is also something I improved dramatically on.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

Everyone knows I am a born leader. I am a very coachable guy and I know when to inject energy into the team.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

Watching tendencies of edge rushers is something I have keyed on recently. Watch the rushers stance, what foot is up, where there first two steps go and even the direction of their hips. I also study different defensive looks and what technique and play calls can counter those looks.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I can say I am an all around offensive linemen. I can play both tackle and guard on either side and excel at pass pro and run block. My IQ and understanding of the game allows me to use all my skills on the field. With 6 years of experience and different coaching staffs, I have learned how to adapt and fit many different systems and build my tool box.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I’ve been able to gain weight and strength both upper and lower body while keeping my athleticism. My goal is continue to become more flexible and stronger.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Being a great teammate in any way possible is what I pride my on. I emphasize communication and know that is a very important trait to have.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

With graduating with my undergraduate degree at UCLA in 3 years, earning my masters in a year and a half, and currently in the MBA program all while playing 6 years of high level collegiate football; I can tell you I am no stranger to hard work and perseverance. Anything I put my mind to I know I can achieve and will blessed to showcase that to a team that believes in me.
