What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

A major goal I set at the beginning of my final collegiate season was to play a role in changing our school’s culture to a winning culture . I wanted to lay a brick for the following classes to build off of.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

I believe that I took advantage of my extra year of eligibility by using the extra time to focus on my craft and really hone in on the details of being an elite wide receiver. I exhausted all resources in terms of trainers and receiver specialist to push my performance to the next level.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I know that my teammates and coaches would firstly shed light on my work ethic and describe me as a “workhorse”. I could be described as an emotional player that is very passionate about the game of football on and off the field.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When studying film I tend to focus on the coverages the defense likes to hang their hat on in certain situations throughout the game . For example I may take note of a team that plays heavy man coverage on third downs with hopes of getting pressure on the Qb. I also spend a lot of time looking at my matchups , studying my opponents techniques . Trying to figure their tendencies and signs that they may not be aware of themselves. I like to take not of how the secondary may disguise their coverages and what exactly they do pre snap to disguise their game plan.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

What separates me from other wide receivers in this draft class is my hunger for getting each and everyday . My attention to detail allows to me stand out in route running and in the film room. Also Im a wide receiver that’s not scared to run down and be physical on special teams.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

This off season I’m going to push myself past my comfort zone in regards in becoming a better athlete . I plan on training and incorporating recovery for my body everyday until an opportunity presents itself to showcase my talents. I have been and will continue to surround myself with players that have made it to the league or played for any extended amount of time.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I bring the energy, the juice. I everyday I’m yelling and screaming cheering on my team. I think I will be great for team morale on and off the field . I want to see everyone I associate with accomplish their goals.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

All I need is an opportunity to prove I have what it takes mentally and athletically excel in any situation . Im well equipped to handle adversity and ready to run through a wall for any willing to take a shot.
