What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

My goal for my final collegiate year was to become a national champion and an all American. I fell 2 games short of the championship.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

The extra Covid year gave me the opportunity to continue to develop my game and mature as a player, it also allowed me to become very familiar with the playbook.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches and teammates would say that I’m always locked in whether it’s practice, film, or in a game. They would commend me on my hustle and how hard I work all year round and in games. They would also say that I would do anything to win. Meaning switching positions, and really buying into the system.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

First thing I do when I’m watching film is watch the guys mannerisms across from me to see if his stance gives me hints. After that I tend to look at the formation to give me possible run/pass and what kind of play I could get. And last part I watch the offensive line to see what the guy struggles with then implement that scheme to my game for the week.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

Something that separates me from other players is my work ethic and my IQ when I’m on the field. Also coming from a smaller school there is no complacency in me, I’m always hungry and trying to broaden my game.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

This off-season I plan on working with pass rush specialist so I can become more versatile and work more on my weaknesses, so when I get a chance to show what I got that people know my name at the end.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

My speed, agility, and versatility. I’ve played every position on the defensive line and even had an interception this year.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

What ever team that chooses me is going to get a player that will always hustle 110 percent and a player with great IQ.
