Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
One main goal I set was to win a National Championship. This was something that I did not achieve, but the opportunity to play at SDSU is something I will never take back. The relationships I formed will always be worth more than trophy to me.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
I think they would say I am a leader. Someone who plays with max effort every play. Someone who is willing to do anything for the team.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
I usually try to find tendencies in offense. Little tips and keys, I try to look at the numbers as well, based off of film study by formation/personnel/situation etc. Anything that will help me be successful on the field.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I think my mental ability to process the game is big for me. I make quick decisions and play instinctually. I also try to play at one speed every play, and get to the ball relentlessly.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I am currently training in Minneapolis with Training Haus. Bill Welle is my trainer.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I think an NFL player obviously needs physical and mental attributes to succeed. I think I have both of these things, and have worked hard to improve both sides of that for the past 5 years but specifically this past couple months really honing this in.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?
I would say I am a player who has physical and metal attributes needed to help a team be successful. I am willing to do whatever it is to help a team win, and a person who will represent your organization and himself on and off the field.
