Q: What goals did you accomplish heading into your final collegiate season?

In my final season collegiate season, I wanted to be the player that controlled the middle of the defensive line and also be a great teammate on and off the field to help us make a run to the NCAA Playoffs.

Q: What would your coaches say about the type of player you are?

They would say that I’m a hardworking player that’s always looking for ways to get better. They would also say I pay close attention to details and am always early for meetings.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

I’m always watching film, I always like to be my biggest critic. I focus on speed and more quickness to improve my game.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

My leverage and strength is what separates me from the others. I’m able to get under offensive linemen’s pads a lot easier with combination power. It just makes their job a whole lot harder. I’m also an extremely passionate guy that wants to win and motivate teammates.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

My training regimens to prepare is to continue to work on speed and quickness as well as my strength level. Also, my trainer has been having me doing a lot of mobility workouts that I have already seen some explosive results in. So he has definitely been getting me prepared for pro day and workouts.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I’m going to work to the highest level on the field and motivate others that are around me. I love to be able to motivate guys out there and just compete!

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

I know most teams want the guy that’s going to give them everything they got. I’m going to be the guy that gives you that, as well as being a sponge out there to soak up everything I need to know plus more. I want to a great student of the game while competing at a high level. I know I get caught up in the measurables, but once I step on the field and compete, that is overlooked.
