Q: What goals did you accomplish heading into your final collegiate season?

My first goal that I accomplished heading into my final collegiate season was being a leader on the defense. Secondly being a game changer for my team. I am the kind of player that hates to lose and will play every game like it’s my last. Lastly getting over 10 sacks in my final season and being in the top 10 of all division 2.

Q: What would your coaches say about the type of player you are?

My coaches would say I am very hardworking and passionate about the game of football. They would also say I play with a chip on my shoulder like I have something to prove.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

When I study film I look at a lot of different things. I study the offensive line mainly seeing if they give away when they are run blocking or going into a pass set. I also look to see if a tackle is leaning or looking down the line showing that he will block down or come at me. I also read the backfield to see the running backs alignment which gives me a good read on where the ball is going to go.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

I believe what separates me from other players is my get off and motor. It can be late in the game and I wouldn’t be tired at all because of my high motor. My ball get off is very fast because I am able to get the snap count down which causes me to be out of a stance before the offensive lineman gets out his stance.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

I will train and prepare by weight training 4 days a week while incorporating yoga 2 days a week. I will stretch every day to assist me in my flexibility. I will continue to perfect my craft in every aspect of my game. To stimulate my mind I will watch NFL film to gain more knowledge regarding how to perfect the game.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

A strength of mine is my dedication to the game of football. I will also bring leadership qualities to a team and I am a player who will always keep my nose clean I will not bring any embarrassment to the team on and off the field. I have the ability to always be professional and give 100% effort in every practice and every game.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

IM THAT GUY! I’m that guy that is going to lay it all on the line for the benefit of my team! I’m that guy that is going to be a game changer when it’s the end of the game and a stop is needed! I’m that guy that is going to contribute to my team having a winning season! I’m that guy that is going to continue to perfect my craft in whatever position I play! IM THAT GUY!
