Q: What goals did you accomplish heading into your final collegiate season?
A goal my team and I had for the 2018 season was to win the conference championship. We were able to accomplish this goal and go 10-0 in the regular season. A personal goal I had was to return from injury after missing last season and have my best season yet. I was able to accomplish this goal.
Q: What would your coaches say about the type of player you are?
My coaches would say I am someone who loves football and leads by example every day. They would say I work hard on and off the field and someone who is 100% dedicated.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
When I watch film, I focus on always trying to perfect my technique. I try to improve by focusing on my footwork and hand placement in order to get better for the next week. When I watch my opponents, I focus on their tendencies and try to gain any advantage that can help on game day. I look at when they blitz, stunt, and how the defensive lineman typically play.
Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?
I feel what separates me is my work ethic and my athleticism. At West Chester, I played in a diverse offense where I was asked to pull often and play in space a lot as an offensive lineman. I am able to use my athleticism and strength to my advantage in order to dominate defensive players.
Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?
My training will consist of me getting bigger and more explosive. I think I can continue to put on weight and become the best version of myself. Also, I will watch film from the past season to see how I can improve on the field.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I think my leadership skills will stand out on and off the field. I was a 2x captain and someone who always lead by example. My dedication to the game and willingness to constantly learn will come with that. I am also versatile and someone who can play any of the interior offensive line positions.
Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
My pitch would be that on and off the field I will do anything it takes to help the team win. I will exceed expectations on and off the field with my work ethic. Also, football is my passion and I love everything that comes with the game.
