Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

A goal I set for my last collegiate season was for my team to not have a loosing season. We ended the season 5-5 which is not winning or losing but it was a good base for the younger players to understand what it takes to win and change the culture at Cumberland University.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

Some things I think my coaches and teammates would say is that I am a very unselfish and competitive player, and also very coachable.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When watching film some things I focus on are my blocking techniques rather that is in the pocket or outside of the pocket. My play fakes, and my patients when running the ball.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

One thing that will separate me from the rest is how smart and coachable I am when it comes to the game of football. When learning the playbook I like to know what every offensive lineman is doing so I know where the cutback will be at. Knowing everything that is happening during a run play which gives me an advantage against the Defensive.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

If I get the opportunity to play at the next level my plan for the offseason is to find a trainer back in Georgia and start working on getting faster and stronger. Also to learn different positions such as slot receiver or any type of special team’s returner so I am more valuable to the team.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Some strengths and abilities that I will bring is discipline on and off the field. Also being leader that leads by example. I’ve always been the type of guy that doesn’t say much but leads by example and I think that says more than just saying the words that everybody wants to hear.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

My final pitch to any team out there that is interested is if you choose me not only are you getting a good player but you are getting a good person. Nick Saban once said “When the best players on your team are the best people on your team, you have a great opportunity to have great unity on your team.”
